My vision for these Gospel Magic effects is to see them used as a powerful witnessing tool to bring the lost person to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. Just imagine what God can and will do when Christians have the wherewithal to present the Gospel in their day to day walk; at play, school and work.
These Gospel magic effects are simply a tool used to help facilitate the presentation of the Gospel in a fun, exciting and downright cool way.
To be blunt, many Christians are timid, hesitant and fearful at introducing the Gospel to friends, co-workers and even relatives. This is due mostly to FUD. FUD is an acronym for Fear, Uncertainty and Doubt. Most Christians fail to share the Gospel and are afraid because they feel inadequate and/or unprepared.
Sadly, surveys indicate that many American Christians present the Gospel to only a handful of people… in their entire lifetime. Most of these Gospel presentations are to family members and the majority of the family members to which Christians presented the Gospel were children.
A vast number of Christians think in error that, “Someone will see my Christian walk and want what I have and ask me about my lifestyle and what makes me different.” These lines of thinking are just not true and simply do not line up with our scriptural commission to “Go and Make” disciples. “Go and Make” are action words.
Hopefully, if nothing else; these Gospel effects can be an attention grabber and perhaps a crutch for those presenters that are a wee bit hesitant or fearful.
This silk vanish is different. It is incredibly angle proof. Can be performed right under a spectators nose. You describe the tomb and it’s Gospel implications. Insert a silk into your closed fist that is horizontal not the traditional vertical position. You then perform the advanced dual rotation vanish. Not the Vernon kick steal or the Slydini back steal. This is the most incredible close up vanish of all. Slow, methodical, controlled. No Wacky hand gestures or sleazy sleights. All with short sleeves and using your favorite thumb tip! Can easily be adapted for stage work. Not the Slydini back steal or Vernon kick steal.
The Gospel implications of a color change transformation are incredible. A black silk is vanished from the left hand. The left hand is shown empty. Then the left hand produces a white silk. Not the normal modus operandi here. Very clever close up effect that is amazingly angle proof. Can easily be adapted for stage work.
